The experience continues with a visit to the renowned Praline Pastry & Chocolate School for a truly heavenly chocolate experience. Discover the artistry and passion behind handcrafted luxury chocolates and have the chance to create your own unique chocolate while enjoying an indulgent tasting experience filled with exceptional flavours and beautiful creations that represent the local producers of the area.

Afterwards, enjoy a carefully selected two-course lunch at Mitchelstown’s famous O’Callaghan’s Café & Delicatessen, featuring a selection of local specialities, followed by tea and coffee in a welcoming setting that celebrates the region’s renowned food culture.

In the afternoon, visit Eight Degrees Brewing and embark on a fascinating journey through the world of Irish craft beer.

Experience the passion behind their award-winning ales during a guided brewery tour, from the flagship Howling Gale Irish Pale Ale to the traditional-with-a-twist Sunburnt Irish Red and the full-flavoured Full Irish IPA. Dietary Inclusiveness

This experience can be tailored to suit a variety of dietary requirements and is suitable for vegetarian and vegan guests. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy specially created vegan chocolates at Praline by Norma, showcasing the same creativity and craftsmanship as the traditional tasting experience.

While the beer tasting at Eight Degrees Brewing is not gluten-free, alternative local beverages can be offered for guests who do not drink beer, are underage, or prefer a non-alcoholic option. These may include Wild Orchard Lemonade, crafted in a nearby village outside Mitchelstown, or a renowned local apple juice from Con Traas or Ballyhoura Apple Farm.
