Located on the shore of the spectacular Clew Bay just minutes from the picturesque town of Westport in county Mayo on the west coast of Ireland lies Croagh Patrick Seafoods. Owned and operated by Padraic Gannon, an oyster farmer for over 30 years, who transformed the family farm into a thriving oyster farm on the shores of the rugged Atlantic.
Forage along the idyllic foreshore at the Gannon’s family farm where Grade A oysters are nurtured by Padraic Gannon. Hear how they grow from seed to table or as we say – ‘from our shore to your door’. Pick your own oysters directly from the trestles then learn how to shuck & cook as the tour concludes with an incomparable tasting and pairing experience.
